Ahmed Legrouri holds a BS from UM-V, Morocco, a Doctor degree from the National Polytechnic Institute, Toulouse, France, and a Ph.D. from Glasgow University, United Kingdom. He is currently a Provost & Vice President for Academic Affairs at the International University of Grand-Bassam, Côte d’Ivoire. He served as professor at Al Akhawayn University, Morocco, Academic Coordinator and Dean of the School of Science and Engineering. His research interests includes intercalation compounds, biomaterials, environment and education. He has developed experience in quality assurance in higher education and contributed to the production and implementation of strategic plans and international accreditation systems of his universities. He served as an expert with UNESCO on education for sustainable development, the UN-ESCWA on integrated water resource management and ECOWAS on harmonization of degrees and certificates. He also served as a member of several scientific advisory committees and received several international fellowships.
