Dr. Ing. Abdellatif BOUAICHI is a Professor at the École Marocaine des Sciences de l'Ingénieur – EMSI Rabat. He has defended his PhD thesis at the Faculty of Sciences and Techniques (FST) in Errachidia, Morocco; He conducted R&D on performance, reliability, and characterization of photovoltaic cells, modules and systems. He has worked for many years at the solar test facilities in Green Energy Park research center (IRESEN-UM6P) in Ben-Guerir (Morocco). He succeeds find a new PV module design able to overcome the REAL solar PV module failure modes/mechanisms in Morocco, the purpose of which is to save the life of the PV modules and improve the LCOE.
